The trip to UCLAN was hugely inspirational

– it presented another side to media which was more fun and more creative, and opened up my options on what I want to pursue in the future. The photography session not only showed me how interesting a career could be but also made me understand and realise how much work is actually put into taking a photo, editing it and the process of publishing it for all to see. I got to learn about a lot of things which I didn’t think would be particularly interesting at first, but having given this opportunity it definitely opened my mind on other aspects of creative media. I also liked how UCLAN offered advice when it comes to going to university – the campus and accomodation tour taught me about university life in general and how it’s ok to not know if you want to go or not. I learnt a lot about studying a course and how things work which allowed me to make my decision easier
