During December, GCSE Media students of Witton Park Academy had the opportunity to visit the National Media Museum of Bradford.
The National Media Museum is home to over 3.5 million items of historical and cultural significance. The trip was organised as part of the school’s year GCSE Media programme.
During the day the students browsed around the interactive museum, learning about various form of media and the history of them. The students also participated in a stop-motion workshop organised by the museum. During the workshop, students learnt the fundamentals of stop-motion and created their own animation. This trip was fantastic opportunity that will give students a deeper understanding on how media is used in the wider world.
