The Academy now has a duty to fulfil our statutory obligations by teaching all students high quality Relationships and Sex Education. At WPA Sex Education continues to be taught through Science lessons.

Relationships Education is now being delivered through our innovative Graduate Programme on Wednesday and Friday. Please follow this link  for a detailed description of what students learn ( year group content is highlighted in their current uniform colour).

The focus of our Relationships programme is how students stay safe and develop healthy relationships, including friendships both now and in the future.

Here at WPA we value the views of parents and the community we serve. In addition to our annual Parental survey we would like to offer all parents the opportunity to speak with us in person throughout the year regarding Relationships and Sex Education. This can be done by attending one of our Relationships and Sex Education Parent view Consultations on the following dates:

22 nd September ’21

17th November ’21

19th January ’22

20th April ’22

15th June ’22
